Ok here's the competition I hinted at the other day
Melbourne Underage Producer Competition
Think you're the next superstar producer? Then here's a chance to show your stuff.
The winner of this competition will have
United DJs'
Beau J play their song during his set at the
Lush Music Festival on March 17
Details and Judging
The judging of the winner will be in two stages. After the cut-off date of March 4, a panel of 3 judges will choose, depending on the number of entires, 3-5 of what we deem to be the best "technically," ie best composed, arranged and mixed. Genre will be irrelevant.
The judges are regulars on this forum; Nelson "Nsonic" Mok, James "LoveJ" Love and myself, Chris "dj_stick" Stannard.
The short-listed tracks will be posted on Monday March 7th. From the 7th to the 14th of March, there will be a public poll allowing members of the site to vote for their favourite track amongst the submissions.
After the 14th, the poll will be closed and the winner announced.
The winning track will then be played by Beau J during his set at the Lush Music Festival
