i think its a younger crowd.... it was fun to go wit some friends cause the musics alright but its just got a different atmosphere than clubs like caseys or metro

You wanna know if its good? Go find out yourself, everyone has different taste, there isn't much point taking other peoples word for it, because theres a strong chance they don't quite like the things that you might.

As for all the teeniebopper remarks, Rumours does cater for a younger crowd, but doesn't have a hard time pleasing the older crowd either. The age group at Rumours varies anywhere from 13/14 to 16/17, which come to think of it isn't all that bad, it is Underage afterall? I don't quite think Underage means 16 and 17 year olds only..

Yes it is different to inner city clubs, yes it does have a different atmosphere, but it still packs out, has it's own unique look, a good layout, good music, and I highly doubt many people walked out of the last event thinking it wasn't fun.

I've been working with the guys from Rumours since it started, and believe me when I say we're trying our hardest to make everyone that comes into our venue happy, and so far I don't think we've done a bad job.
And yes, I know, there is room for improvement, and we'll be there working on it.

Rumours has 2 rooms, the R&B room with DJ Tours and a few special guest DJ's here and there, and the house/dance/techno room with DJ Brad. Both decent DJ's very capable of getting feet moving.
It also has a pool room, with 8 purple individually lighted up pool tables, which are free to use all night. Also in the pool room is a glowstick stand with tons of cool stuff to buy on the night for all you people that wanna be sparkling on the dance floor

Then theres the chillout room with the bar, providing free soft drink all night, and plenty of couches to sit down n relax.

No point trying to ruin it for everyone else.. go there with a positive attitude, and you'll come out with one.
It's a good place to go on a Friday night, and it finishes reasonably early so there's still plenty of night left for all you hardcore nocturnals to have some fun. Don't really see why your complaining :S

Feel free to come see me on the night if you have any queries about the event, dance comp, etc. I run the glowstick stand between 5 and 8:30ish, if I'm not there, ask whoever is for Nick

Well ive been and so have around 100 other people that i have spoken to about this event and they all say its a wannabe club.

People that like Rumours are hyping it up sound like the best underage running right now. Actually if i could be bothered, i would find the post about Rumours which somebody actually says that it is the best club around right now. But i cant be stuffed so f*ck it.

But yeah, all im saying is, that this club has been hyped up too much and it is putting people off

you cant say much about fluid or any other club either...caseys fluid... hmmmm sounds kinda dirty i been going to a few underages around the area n i reckon there all about the same except rumours is bigger cheaper and um ummmm we have a pool room !!! and ummmm yeah there all good i reckon except stages.... that place is an abomination to anything that resembles a club its a small hall in boronia...check out the profile if they have one

i think when people complain about the people going being too young at events they forget it is an UNDERAGE event. therefore underage events are aimed at any age under 18... i guess people like this are jus goin have to wait till their 18 or get a fake id or sumfin...

Well said Nick..I have also been there from the start and i think the guys esp the hard working Mike have done a really good job to get it off the ground and they are always looking for feedback and ways o improve the club so if u have complaints or idea's (and not like too many youngins, which i do agree with but we can't do much about) pm and ill make sure that any good ideas get back to the guys at rumours.

still think to many youngings....like i saw this girl she was about 13 hooking up with this 17 year old i was like OMG u serious... i almost fainted!!! the funny thing about that about half and hour later the guy was hooking up with another younging! Well all i have to say to this guy is... "You just Keep pullin them in, don't ya!" LOL

Rumours is a mad club the crowd is getting older each event. Each event goes OFF, the music is really good and the dance comp was a great idea this friday [the 8th] second heat GUYS.
For $12 with pass B6 and $15 after 6 or $20 with out, it’s so cheap when your getting 5hours of music in 2rooms, free pool all night and soft drink a lounge area 4 you to relax and get your breath back and yes of course its different from metro and Caseys, every club has its own style and atmosphere.
The people who said it’s a ‘wanna be club’ and that it has no ‘class or style’ come down this Friday[The 8th]and I think you will be surprised.

i aggree with mizz funk on the hot guys there are alot of "Plastic gangsta's" and 12 yr old sluts there are also quite a few older girls with style that go, i guess u just have to remeber the area its in. how ever i do remember going to caseys back in the envy dayz when they got like 400 per event and it was pretty crap these days its pretty good but i have heard lots of ppl compare rumours to fluid.
