In 5 weeks time im running my last underages ever... After 6 years of promoting and running underage events I've had enough. Its been a pretty interesting journey meeting the good, the bad & the ugly. In that time I've run / managed approximatley 100 events and promoted or been staff at another 150 gigs.

The best event I think in my time was my 18th at Lush Music Fest at the Docklands on the 17th of March 2007. 7800 people is something I won't ever forget. That was pretty cool. But there were also alot of great memories at places like QBH, Next Blue, Chicane, Showgrounds, Volt, Rumours & Inflation.

A big thanks to Mick, George & Paul from Grumpy for teaching me the ropes @ LUSH. Thanks to Ugly @ Twister for some crazy times at the Palace & helping me get over a certain x partner... My Dj team you have been great DirX, Yildirim aka Lightning, AriB, Arbri, John Mav & Danzer you guys have played great music for the past few years. Thanks also to all the promoters / hosts / schools teams / managers / security / staff / regulars / old friends you know who you are weve had some great times together. Finally a big thanks to Knox & Laverton police for helping me keep the gigs going its been great working together for a worthy cause. & a big shoutout to Rob & Timmy @ MU thanks for your help & support.

As for the future, I'm working on an exciting new venture and everyone will hear about it soon enough.

Miami is located at the Ferntree Gully Wattle hall, 160 Underwood Rd in Ferntree Gully, next to Ferntree Gully Train Station, on the Belgrave train line, not too far from Ringwood. Everything is set for a great event - there is the Miami main arena with all the best hardstyle, electro and funky rnb and a massive outside chill out area.

Spunk has Melbourne's best Djs including John Mav (Lush), Yildirim (Twister), & our new young gun Dj Fezz. Spunk has a main arena with house & techno and a side room with rnb. The Altona Youth Hall is located at the corner of Civic parade and Sugargum Drive in Altona, just a 5 minute walk from Altona train Station.

At the events doors open from 7pm till 11pm. There is soft drinks, water, cloak room and glowsticks available plus heaps of giveaways including keypass tshirts and glowsticks, juuce hair products, jellybellys and free redbull on arrival. There is amazing sound, hot lighting, great people & atmosphere that is setting the standard for underages in Melbourne. You decide if you want to miss out on this.

I must say, despite everything, all the crap that's gone on, all the rumours, etc, you have outlasted pretty much everyone, and made a reasonable success out of it (from what i can see).So i congratulate you and wish you good luck with your future endeavours.

And yes, it is the end of an era, that i was lucky enough to be a part of while it was still half descent. Will there even be any more underages left now?

most of the events i went to were shithouse. not having a personal attack against ya mate, only good even i can remember was one of the Lush events at next blue.

yes Mickey im totally ending it. Running hall parties is very different to promoting underages at nightclubs 3 years ago. The next thing on my to do list is not world domination or free the dancing bears, its buying a bar
