Tiesto...
March 2008.
So I hear.
Couldn't give fat rats whether he came or not but I thought I'd let you all know because that's what I was told last night but somebody who apparently has something to do with the team bringing him out.
Just can't wait to see all the wankerdoodles go and see Tiesto play just because it's the "cool" thing to do. The type of people who can't name even THREE of his tracks nor can they define what music he plays, they just go because everyone else is going and they want to tell their friends all about it. Much like some of the Daft Punk crowd lol
Anyway, I won't be going to Tiesto...PVD on the other hand ;)

Yeah i've heard the same Beau J.
I on the other hand i'm very excited about him coming down to Oz!
Hope his show will be more Progressive & Melodic Trance compared to his set's and CD Complications these days.
Presuming the show will at Sidney Music Bowl or maybe Vodaphone Arena? Hope its at Sidney Myer Music Bowl as i will then be able to get in!
Anyways i'm excited! bring on the haters!

tiesto, easter 08 or something along those lines.
plus he is also saying something along the lines of
"the biggest act to hit our shores come april."

Single handedly evolved it? Meaning he alone evolved it? I highly doubt that. Trance (and a fair chunk of house that dj's like Tiesto, Cosmic Gate, Feris and so on play) have been evolved by many, i've just named a few. I believe Tiesto's biggest impace on its scene is making it alot more mainstream.

not worth it imo… he's lost the whole idea of what a DJ is… he calls his events "concerts" - what does he think he is, a rockstar?

It's only a concert if the dj(s) play majority of their tunes 'live', and every song played that night is a track/remix of their own.
Tiesto ain't no concert.
