Dakota is a nice venue & with the renovation it should b awsome.

It should be great if all goes ahead the capacity is 1000, but licencing has only allowed 650, damn the councils! It will still be great!

on the dakota liquor licence the capacity is 450 patrons and i have seen it with my own eyes....

Can some clarify what is the big deal about capacity.....?
It seems the only benifit to having a big crowd is more money for the organisers....
otherwise it just creates, a hot, sweaty and uncomfortable environment..
Bigger is not always better [in this case]

actually jimmy big venues still turn people away.... anyone remember the oldskool summer metros, march long weekend qbhs and the last lush @ nxt blue..... for a few examples... all big venues and all turned away in excess of 500 punters
