Not really a domestic fan, but I like the new VEs. So many along my street. Love the exhaust setup of it.

yea they are nice cars but dont seem to be like commodoores, they seem too much like the astra...just a big comfortable v8 version, looks like a nice care but something that will end up so popular that non-enthusiasts will have them, like how you said abou them being all up your street

would never ever ever ever touch a commodore with a 10ft pole or even any australian designed and made car for that matter.

if i had to choose one i would choose a vc commonwhore because they are the lightest out of the bunch and have a big engine bay to remove that horrible v8 out of and chuck somthing along the lines of a 2jz or 1uzfe in.

It is kind of sad to see the VL cop such a stereotype look upon it now, it truly is a great commodore! (in my eyes at least) i mean yeah it doses, if you want it to.

i think the reason vl's are loved so much is because they are easy to modify because of the RB engine.. it makes it so much more simple and they are easy to maintain, personally im a fan of the VC's now thats old school class...lol the new VE's do my head in.. VN's,VR/VS are all pretty much the same... ugly and 'ballsy' i do however like the VY calais.. theyre so alluring and they hammer like a beast. but at the end of the day theyre all holdens, theyre all commodores... id still rather a jap car anyday... personally a dc2 integra or a series 2 rx7 :)

The Vr was the benchmark shape for all other large cars when it came out, major improvements to the Vn/p shape and interior especially getting rid of all those ugly buttons on the dash and the Vr is clearly its best looking basic commodore along with the Vt (considering when the cars were new).
