Since when has the quality/organization of the venue management has reflected on the outcome of the actual event?

If you still don’t understand what running an underage is, let me clarify it for you!
Venue Management: They hire the venue out to an event manager (A.K.A Maurice in this case.) The venue management has no say in the organization of the underage.
So if the venue manager is an absolute dumb kent, it still wont affect Saturday Night Fever. Because the event is run by a different person.

- Look at How well the pass is designed.
- Look at the DJ line up. It’s a pretty decent line up I would say.
- Look at the Venue, It is in the City.
- Sure it aint a nightclub, but he still has to deck it out with proper club lighting and sound which is additional expence..
- Look at how long the Night runs for! (Which means addtional money required for security/staff/dj's/hire costs)
(I stated all the above because, they all cost money.)


NOW, Look at the Cost of entry. Its $10 with pass/guest list.
NOW YOU TELL ME, when was the last time there was an underage for that good price with a this good of a deal? I would say maybe about 4 to 6 years ago.

When people like Maurice are doing you a favor, just shut the **** up and appreciate what you get. He could of easy priced this $15 to $18 range.

I'm generally over every underage there is today, and i'm usually dissapointed in majority of events half the time and the only reason i attend is because i have close friends in the scene, and thats how i am, i'm usually attracted to an underage within how professional it looks and how the line up is.. Maurices pass happens to look very professional, so in my mind i assume it'll be good but then i'll just go and it'll be like every other event... No difference, look if you have a problem with me, confront me upfront on MSN and just keep it out of the thread, it's obvious Maurice dosnt want a fight to start

In my opinion, Charisma runs high quality events and you can tell time was put into the event. For example, at the last Charisma event which I had no management part of, I thought it was awesome how the organiser was able to hook the clubbers up with Gasp t-shirts. For once, it wasnt just a CD, it was a $50 top and alot of people walked away with it. Good value for money I say, pay $15, score a $50 t-shirt... There were bubble machines, great lighting effects, the music flowed nicely... Emad, I know where you're probably coming from and I respect your opinion but I honestly believe the Charisma is not "like every other event", for one, they are still running events after over a year and even after I left the crew (even though I wouldnt say I did much haha).

So what can I say, I look forward to another high quality event by Charisma, I personally prob won't be there, I have uni (stupid ACT holidays are different to VIC holidays) but I encourage you all to attend, this is one series you don't want to miss.

I dont think Charisma is the same as any other event, i say this because i actually enjoy what the deejays play, the setup of the event & the crowd we get.

Yes we have been running over a year, will make that over a year & 5 months.. since late march last 2005

So basicaly there has been a change, a quite big one actually, each event we run is actualy getting better.
The series of events coming up are only running because there arnt events that can give people a party to go to!
I know this? because i know a fkn **** load of people who just sit at home, or wonder around the city doing absolutly nothing, getting pissed on there $20 cash they use for the alcohol.

Where every 2nd week they can go & party hard. The studio might not be the best venue in MELBOURNE But i can assure you that it will be a funky night & somewhere to go, but fair enough you can arrgue if the price is $20 dollars but is it?

The last Charisma at the club ' Hi Fi Bar ' was a success & was one of the best projects we have ever organised.

Each event is just getting stronger & stronger.

A good/friendly crowd, loved to party & the atmosphere was unbelievable.

Some of the tracks lupco played + the venue atmosphere actually for the first time reminded me of a place called worship at the metro many many years ago.

Charisma is finally getting its break through & soon these events are going to kick the doors wide open for a big oppitunity.
Also - The projects soon to be released are rare to the scene & im not sure if anyone had ever thought of them to begin with.

Charisma Featuring Saturday Night Fever will be a special night as they kick off with a new dj line up, great venue setup, great features & a massive promotions crew.

I will be down at the event among side the other stuff as we get this party started.

Why am i slinging mud at this event? It was a simple question about why this is a u/21 event. I just question this event because when you let people who are over the age of 18 into a club with people who are underage problems tend to happen and it gets closed down.
