REALLY BORING quiz shows.

There is an epidemic.
OK I could deal with HotDogs hosting his own little stupid gameshow called 'The Up-Late Game show'. Fine I just avoided channel 10 after 12.
But last week I realised channel 9 now had a Quiz show (starting at midnight) called 'Quizmania' hosted by some boring as chick.
Now, watching channel 7, some new show has started called 'Midnight Zoo' again it is a fucking quiz show. It's hosted by some weird dude.

Well my after midnight viewing has now gone to ****. Thanks TV!!!
These shows are so boring. One person constantly talking about nothing at all. It's just infuriating to watch...

I guess this doesn't affect most of you though.

I'm quite stunned that I can flip through 3 channels and be seeing pretty much the same thing....

i just had the same problem looking for something to watch bcoz i cant sleep.. and all 3 channels have quiz shows.. i called up on the midnightzoo one i didint get through thats the first and last time im ever being sucked in by that junk.

I was watching them last night, the girl on the channel 9 one kept almost falling over or maybe she just has a fucked up walk. I'm sure their ratting will slowly go down and they will all be cancelled :D

it has two hosts each night i think, theres a lame arsed guy, and a ditzy girl. its funny, because the questions they ask are so general, and sometimes they go ages without callers, so they have to practically give an answer away... i guessed right the other night, and would have won like $1000... i just couldnt find the other phone :( about an hour later they gave my answer away in a clue...

OMFG!!! I was about to die last night! One thing I loved about BB6, was their Uplate T.V, because I completely hated HotDogs's late night show. Well yesterday I had the problem of being confronted by his T.V show because BB Uplate is over. I’m like OW MY FUKEN GOD.. Not this sh!t again. So I’m like ok, sawl good Zerrin, just change the channel, so I did and ANOTHER fuken game show was on! I was spinning out! And then I’m like fuk this **** and I changed it hoping for a good late night movie and what do I find on channel 9.. SOME FUKEN SL*T RUNNING ANOTHER GAME SHOW. It was the most fuked up late night T.V I have ever seen!

Ye i rekon. They suck bad. I actually enjoyed the random movies they have after midnight. They have really good movies. The other night i watched an aussie movie. It was a bunch of cops interviewing sum guy about a stolen car and a murder. It was soooo good. SBS is great though. They have some alrite forign movies on. They look like crap but watch it for 10 minutes and when you know what its all bout its cool.

I don't watch much TV at midnight, but I have a few times and my god I hated The Up-Late Game Show. I can't believe other channels have joined in on them.. WTF.
Now days pretty much the only time I'm watching TV that late now is either
a) Rugby
b) I have a DVD in
c) Godzilla is on SBS!!! How I heart SBS's Godzilla!

Yeah seriously 7 and 9 played so many quality (shitty) sitcoms, I loved it.

Passions shits me and you sitll have to wait for the quiz shows to finish before it starts. Seriously passions is so totally bizarre, it has a monkey on it now..a helper monkey..wtf...

You do realise they intentionally make it seem like there is no callers.

You call up and get, "Hello, this is a two stage process. Let's see if you're into the next round! I'm sorry please try again" That is, if you arn't getting an engaged tone.
So then you keep dialling, because you know that answer but of course, you still can't get through. While you keep pressing redial, douchey Mc douche over in bumfuck South Australia has managed to get through 20 minutes ago and they have had him on hold, while they pretend to not have callers.

Yeah, I tried on saturday night :(

They charge 55c for you to ring up (which they get a percentage of), hear a *dingdong* noise and them telling you that you didn't get through to play "this time.."
I think the way it works is they wait until just enough people have called to make up the amount of money they are "giving away", and THEN they answer to somebody.. pricks.
Cheap way of making money off everyone around the country hey!

And um Rebz the way it works is...they'd have a budget of the amount of money given out for that show and what games will be played, estimated amount of people calling in, how much money that will generate and so on...

Serioulsy, they trick you into thnking you're the only one watching the show but you aren't. I was watching the channel 9 one for a few minutes and was almost tempted to try because..you think no one else is calling in because of what they keep saying. And the nice tv hosts wouldn't lie to you..right?

i was watching the channel 9 one last night, and suddenly they had technical difficulties and had to stuff around for like half an hour making jokes and stuff, then they just went to an episode of drew carey BOOYAH!
i flicked over to channel 7 when they were having the difficulties and saw a really really creepy guy doing another quiz show, then they went to a girl, and she was just as weird. just shows the talent they have on channel 7.

i love how they make the channel 7 brown hair chick wear low cut tops and bikini's, but she really has nothing to show off... and the guy is creepy. the blonde chick is ok, but just weird. they all are... that's why they are on that late at night i suppose. i dont mind the channel 9 people as much though, but they are still obviously just tv f*ckups.
