One of the things I enjoy most in life is going to watch rallies so I thought I would start a thread about them. I don't know much about the WRC or Dakkar Rally but I try to watch them as much as possible. My main interest lies in the ARC. This is probably due to the fact that I know a few of the drivers and navigators because my dad used to be a navigator. Just wondering if there is anyone else on this site who is interested in rallying because I would love to talk about it and find out more about the WRC and Dakkar. And also has has anyone been an official at an event and which events they were. I only just started out as an official last year as I'm finally old enough to actually help my dad with the stage that he runs at the ROM.

Not all rallying is done on gravel. It is on all surfaces pretty much. (Gravel, dirt, bitumen, snow and sand).

I mentioned bitumen purely because what i raced was on tarmac ONLY...

I watched just about the whole WRC season two years ago before music took over..
