Hey.
Sorry if there is already a thread on this. I looked but couldn't find any.

Im going for my L's soon and can't wait to drive.
I was wondering what you guys think of the test and if you passed first time etc.
Also what you got on the test.

lol i got mine the test is basically noral knowleged off the roads and signs and stuff u got 45 mins to do it anyway i was panacking but finished it within 6 mins and got 81% still a pass :)

i went for mine a week after my bday last year (when i turned 16) and i passed but i was sh*tting myself becuase i didnt know it came up on the screen if fail so i was scared and the guy at the counter said youve got too many right and you pass and i was like huh? n he told me yeah youve passed and i was rappt too bad i havent driven yet :O lol had them for a year how goods that..
but nah just read over the book but its mostly common sence its easy i got like 83% or something

Ive done a few practise tests one the VicRoads site. I always get around 85-90% and its basically the same test as the actual one. I should go aightt.

It's fukn piss easy. It's basically just general knowledge, like you can pass it without even reading the book. If you read the book once you should be fine.

I got mine first time, but don't remember what i scored, but i do remember that i finished it fairly quickly though. There's no way in hell you'd need 45mins to do it.

yeah thats exactly right and if youve done some other test thing youll pass 4 sure just dont panic about failing but dont get too cocky in ur self and youll do ok :D

i didnt really study, and ended up with a 81%. the hazard perception test for your p's is the one to look out for...

the test on the vic roads site is exactly the same as the real one. i never read the book but did the test about 10 times and passes with 93%.

i got mine on my bday, i read the book like at 4am in the morning after my party and i got 93% or 94% (im not sure but only 4 questions wrong), it's really easy most is just common knowledge and a few u need from the big chapter in the book..

I finished it in 8 minutes. I got 91%. It's so common sense, it's just ridiculous. One of my questions was like:
If you are driving and you approach a pedestrian crossing, and there are people crossing on it, do you:
a) Wait until you think it's safe and then drive through?
b) Wait until all the pedestrians have left the crossing, then continue driving?
c) Keep driving slowly, and stop if you are too close.
Needless to say it was easy. By the way, I'm not 100% on c)...

LmAo i just failed the practice test on the vicroads site.. 75%.. i got the ones from the booklet thingy wrong (i dont have the book yet and i need it because ill b going for my L's in just over a month:S) but the other common knowlege ones i aced :)

the test it really easy... i skimed through the book the night before at work, did the test in 10 min n got 97%..like every1 else said, its basically general knowledge!

haha, i am going to be honest, first time i didn't read the book, i got 75% just under a pass, 1 mark, second time, i couldn't let myself fail again, so i read the book, correctly and went throigh everything, and i got 78%, which i was sooo satisfied hehe, got my picture taken, i looked like i was half asleep LOL,

the test is alot earier if u practise on the net as the questions arre pretty mush da same as the actual test.

well i am pretty sure it is out of 34, and you need to get i think 25 right to get 78% and pass the test, no calculations done before hand this is just an estimation :)

eyy i jus got my learners 2 weeks ago got a score of 84% took 12 mins n 59secs lol...yeah its mainly common sense dont need the book. Ive been thrashing my mums car lately driving manual.....you have to drive manual its way better

Before I turned 16 I read the book and I was really excited about it now I'm 17 in about 22days and I still haven’t gone 4 them, (you don’t need your learners to drive :):):) )I will probably go for them sometime its holidays if I have time

lmao omg i thought the same!!! i was in line waiting the whole time thinking 'omg im so scared...i failed i know it'...and i didnt!! i was so wrapped i think i got 89 or 87...something like that:) lol that was in march and i havent driven since...well march which kind of sucks:(
how can someone fail that test 3 times? okay i understand once, twice is cutting it thin...but three times?! wow...id be scared if i ever come across that person on the road...
