Check ohms...

DC voltage?

check the connections between the speakers and the amplifier unit
move the wire side to side a bit, and if you can hear crackling in the speakers the connection may be loose or the wires themselves damaged

^^i tried that, the speakers are connected fine..when the bass beat kicks in, each time the bass hits, the L.E.D screen dims.. :S

LED dimming is normal on lower end systems iirc
when you turn it up it cuts out? sounds like the amp is either dodgy or overheating

yeh i reckon it's either the amp or the wires themselves

Probably the power supply is under-rated and if you try and push tunes with a decent kick it pushes the amp to hard...

If it only cuts out on high volume, that doesnt sound like a cable issue... its the 20c amp that is banged in the lower end home stereo 'do it all' jobs..

its the systems peak protection. the amp is peaking and cutting out or the power supply that powers the amp is under rated like mentioned meaning it aint giving the amp enough power when up loud. lower Hz draw more power so try turning down the frequencys below 100hz on ya eq if the system has one.

im prett sure by reading ur posts seems like the amp is abit dogey or the cords could be try new set of speaker wire mayb ones abit thicker and lower the hz down and see what happens if nothing works try gettin a new amp lmao :)

the best way to find out if its ya wires is to see if they get warm or hot when u turn it up really loud , if they do it means too much current is flowing through them and you need to up grade to thicker wires.

get the one's that are like 4 or 5 dollars a meter they should do the job fine thats what i use forgot the name carnt think of the brand atm lol but yer i got like 30 meters of that stuff in my room lol and i got 7 speakers 2 that are 300 watt rms 2 that are 80 watt rms and 3 that are 150 watt rms each and a 12 inch subbey and my amp puts off 1000 watt rms 200 to each channel and i use those wires and it runs fine so no doubt it can handle urs lol

I highly doubt that system could run down to 100hz..
