ok i have and other ppl i know have come to the realisation that the underage scene has

gone to the dogs, it is full of attitude, pretescious tenni boppers and wanna be gangsters!!!!!!

u find that u see young ppl at underages now, like 2 young!!!!! u see heaps and heaps of

gangsters these days, heaps of fights, cozz u a greek n u a turk n u an arab n u italian blah blah blah!!!

most the DJs seem to be all the same these days!!!! no originality in the sets they

play! it has become bollox! i mean im currently listning to a minimal tek DJset n the last 4 songs have been hip hop, they have been mixed better then ANY underage hip hip/rnb/rap DJ ive ever herd

AND THEY TECHNO DJS!!!!! they scratchin and all, god thats a new concept aint it?

there are a few fresh faced DJs with skills but thats it! y cant we see more fresh faced DJs, more friendly

croweds, who arnt 12 years old!!!!!!

"Commercial Dance" with bloody rnb, hiphop and god knows wat else

look im pretty sure ive said this but the kiddies dont want to listen to what they bplay at hk or room and 7 or wherever, they dont want to hear breaks they dont want to hear proper uplifting

trance, they dont wanna hear hard house all they want to hear when they go out is the **** they hear on nova or fox or what ever fucking radio stations are around now. in my sets at qbh i mix up

the tunes, like when i did first set at the 14 of april qbh(house set of course) i played a bit of prog i played a bit of funk and i played a bit of commercial. and the last set i played at the

21st qbh(banging set) i did alot of quick mixes(2mins of each song basiclly) i pulled some fucking good tunes out on them like lunn and james alive,played some stuff they sorta no like the

theme,and i played cheese. so what im saying is you can play a few tunes but u have to play the **** they no so they can say hey **** i no this song i heard it nova a hundred times last week lets

clap our hands and chant the name of the country my parants came from. thats how it works...................................

well after being an underage clubber of like 5-6 years i have finally hit overage...
i had cum to the conclusion thatunderage had gone to the **** eva since chasers closed...that was th pinacle of underage and i have neva been to an underage as good as those....
but all dat aside, overage kills underage...ppl are more laidback and just listen to the music instead of trying to impress the person next to them...and those annoying circles are not repeated, thank god...
all dat apart, overage is awesome, no queing, no "sik muzza'z" (most of da time)...and yea....

For example a guy and a chick were sittin down on chairs and when they left to go do whatever we pulled the chairs aside with other mates and we sat down. 5 minutes later he comes back and goes to my mate '**** you stole my chair' and mate goes 'ah dude, u left this chair empty' and the other guy replied 'you wanna fight for it!', so we juz laughed and gave him his chair.

u find that u see young ppl at underages now, like 2 young!!!!! u see heaps and heaps of

gangsters these days, heaps of fights, cozz u a greek n u a turk n u an arab n u italian blah blah blah!!!

most the DJs seem to be all the same these days!!!! no originality in the sets they

play! it has become bollox! i mean im currently listning to a minimal tek DJset n the last 4 songs have been hip hop, they have been mixed better then ANY underage hip hip/rnb/rap DJ ive ever herd

AND THEY TECHNO DJS!!!!! they scratchin and all, god thats a new concept aint it?

there are a few fresh faced DJs with skills but thats it! y cant we see more fresh faced DJs, more friendly

That's why I am glad and I am sure alot of other people are that the thread about "What can we change about the underage scene" came up. Like I said, if events were to become classier with slightly smaller crowds it would cut out the unwanted crowd just that little bit more.

totally agree with you charz without all the people who make underage what it is, it would be dull, boring and no one would come and then they would shutdown the whole underage scene all together and no one wants that. everyone.. especailly me loves there underages.. so far ive counted i think 12 that im goin to in december/january and plenty more to come. each club offers something new, the venue, djs and so forth.. the teenie boppers are gone now every club has raised the minimum age to 14 even so i hardly see 14 yr olds i just see 15 16 16 years olds. wen i was 14 i wasnt alowed at clubz in the city i had to sleep at peoples houses and pull shifties, as for gangesters fair enuff but i dont see gangesters anymore:S they wouldnt be alowed in the club i dont think people dont want gangsters in their club if they wanna bash some one they can tak their business elsewhere, and as for the so called wog thing.. cmon greeks n turks italians blah blah blah everyones over that man.. now days everyone jus chants at clubz chanting "ellas" "turkyie" "ellas" "turkyie" which people who arent even greek or turkish join in lmao but yeah.
i like the underage scene jus the way it is. i dont see any attitude at all and even better i see friendlier and more nicer people than there was back in the day. and plus now people are makin classy underages eg) choc factory.. so relax =)

That post was done 2 years ago and its still so relivant, and as for the gangsta that aren't at clubs any more, that is a lie. Why do you think that times where first cut from 12 to 11 then 11 to 10? There is only one answer and this is that the Gangsta Thugs and Muzz teks screwed things up, they screwed it up by being heros.
What started alot of the fights? Chanting that lead to people bumping into each other and then a hero complex broke out and then there were fights....

also most clubs are similiar as long as they are held in a club, Dj's are basically the same special guests are the same, orginality is hard to find, and when it is its stolen by other people.

Nothing ever really changes, it's only us that change. We get older, then eventually we just get over it. Although i think the scene has cleaned up a fair bit, there aren't as many heroes and gangstas anymore, but maybe it's just because there are more specialised events these days that catter for a classier crowd, so those that don't want to mingle with those types of people don't have to.

The underage scene is going through a bit of a quiet patch atm, cos there are no superclubs, but Metro's back now, so that should be good, but i think there should be another superclub out, to balance things out, but i have heard rumours of a new superclub emerging, so you guys just may be in luck :wink:

Speaking from a 15 year olds perspective.. theres more 13, 14 year olds at underages because parents are getting less strict and **** about where they go as long as they know its supervised and **** and you can't blame it all on 14,15 year olds:) lol and at underages , `specially vibe, it was all the 16, 17 year olds brawling and had to be kicked out and in the end one of them got bottled and ****.. But no matter where the **** it is and how much you try to do to prevent it, there is always going to be fights and gangs at underages and people starting to brawl and crap but theres not much you can to prevent it , all you can really do is try as hard as you can to get a clean crowd and kick people out when they start to brawl. and if i remember rightly (correct me if im wrong) , Chocolate factory tried to aim for the best clean crowd and it didn't turn out like that . so yeah..

well all events im involved in we try and keep the age 14+ as we have done with Rumours and eventually did with Fresh- we fixed that joint up hard it began too pull in full house of 14+!
