Because Josh is a bastard who likes to snore I got next to no sleep last night, then had to come straight home, get ready and piss off again to Caseys. I got there at like 3 and there was no one cept for Carla there, and she was on the phone, so bored I got and went to get Subway and Boost Jooce and came back, by this time Murray was there and Dwayne and Joe showed up soon after. There was a dude there fixing up the amps because there’s one house that complains about the noise from the club, which doesn’t make sense because there isn’t houses anywhere near the club, it’s a Uni, some shops and a train station. But yeh, people complain and we must comply, bollocks that’s true, but yeh :(.
Rob M showed up and then disappeared again, because his stomach got the better of him, but he soon returned to begin the evening. For about 30 minutes there was 3 people, but what’s sadder then that fact is that those three people were my sister and her two friends. But people did slowly start to arrive, and what I love is when people arrive that I know, there’s always someone I don’t expect to come but they do anyway, tonight’s subject on that matter was the man Mikey C himself. And with him was Berri & Bianca. Soon after them Erryn (who complains that I don’t put enough of her in my review :P), Josie, Jocelyn, Francis, Stefii (who complains also :P) Candy & Amy.
Rob decided that his time would be better spent at the footy with his mates, so I took over the duties of playing the RnB with Joe until Piero arrived. During this time we also had a visit from another two unexpected visitors… Well actually just one of them, cause the other one tried to call me on my broken phone… Twas Cass & Alex, the love birds themselves! Alex asked me to play good stuff, but I was still playing RnB sadly :(.
But soon Piero arrived and I went off to go chillin on the couch with the two most bored looking people in the place, Mikey & Erryn. After about 15 minutes I was called back to the DJ booth as the RnB room opened and I was challenged to keep everyone in the room, and that I did by playing the old school bomb The Pump Panel – Confusion then going hard as nails for about 30 mins before Joe kept it going to play some more RnB.
Then I went back to the couch to be joined by Jocelyn where we used the glass in between our room and the lil VIP type bit of the RnB room as the looking glass as if we were at the Zoo and all the people in there were Animals. Needless to say they were all rather scared and our mission was complete.
Josie then found herself a cardboard box and proceeded to walk up to people as if it were a boom box and just start rockin’ with it on her shoulder as I took photos of all the peoples reactions, I got some really good ones :). Our venture was going great (we’d even got Jocelyn and Francis to join in too) until we got back to the others and Mikey snapped, most likely due to boredom, and proceeded to rip the box apart with the help of Jeremy jumping on it. So I got pictures of Mikey being spanked by Josie with the box.
Phil Ross was up next to rock the crowd till the end of the night. While other amusing things happened such as Stefi making HUGE ear rings out of glow sticks, Francis stopping Beau from raving to Insane, and Jocelyn hitting Joe with a pink glow stick and Joe coming over looking mighty scary!!
Small crowd true, but still a very enjoyable evening. 8.5 outta 10 from me!
